Regional Stock Photo was founded by John and Julie Forest in 2007. Why did we start this site? Julie was working on a local commercial website and had a difficult time finding stock photos of local landmarks and places. Sure, there were a few photos here an there of local towns, but no body of work that provided what she needed to get her project done.
What is our vision? We'd like to see this concept of affordable, quality pictures of local places be expanded to include images from photographers from across the country. Who knows, perhaps we can eventually capture the unique charm of every village, town and city in the US.
